Betty Braverman Fine Art Reproductions

To raise funds for restoration and display of the many art works of Betty Braverman we now offer reproductions of two pieces and plan to offer a few more in the future if they prove popular. The works are largely in good condition but they are 'old' so in order to maintain them after 75 years many pieces need cleaning and revarnishing as well as minor restoration. This is an enormously expensive prospect for the entire collection and you can support it through purchase of these beautiful reproductions. Cleaning and re-varnishing of a single oil painting by a trained expert costs $150-500. Proper framing with museum-grade materials for long term protection of these works is also quite costly. I've begun investing my own funds in this project but cannot do it all myself. I'd like to keep all these pieces in good condition so they can last for at least another 75 years so a good way to raise funds for this project is to offer high quality reproductions for sale. Funds raised from these reproduction sales will go towards this restoration and maintainance of this collection. These reproductions were made using very high resolution photography and proper original printing methods for the most beautiful results. Reproductions are in standard sizes for easy framing. Large format original color inkjet print. Each is an original, not reproduced by offset printing, rather by using a high precision HP 6-color printer - an expensive reproduction method that preserves the beauty and quality of the work. Our first large poster is one of the beautiful 'Art Deco' style designs you see on the 'Color Saturation' exercise on the previous page. It's a brilliant and stunning image.We have not retouched or altered the work so the enlarged image on this poster shows the artist's original brush strokes and small imperfections resulting from 'hand' work. The original work is only 3" square and it is reproduced here at about 15", greatly enlarged. This is faithful to the artist's intent for use of this image as a poster design as entitled on the original.

Printed on a high quality color inkjet printer on glossy photo paper this is an excellent reproduction of the original black-on-white india ink design, and it is dated. It's a very cool design and affordable. Easy to frame in this popular 'letter paper' size which reproduces the original image slightly larger than actual size.
